Inclusive, accessible playground planned in Stayer Park
Back in September, the Plymouth Lions Club shared their vision for arguably the club’s most ambitious community service project, nicknamed “Dare to Dream.”
As part of the city’s Mullet Corridor project, the Plymouth Lions will be focusing on enhancing Stayer Park. The design of the playground equipment is well underway, with some preliminary artist concepts provided by equipment partner Landscape Structures.
These are only “concepts” at this point, providing a vision and inspiration for what the park may ultimately look like. Final design of all the equipment will come together in the coming months.
At a glance, some of the equipment may appear to be somewhat typical of what one would expect at a playground: slides, swings, climbing apparatuses, etc. However, the overall design of the park an equipment is far from typical.
