As a follow-up to the September 6, 2018 story posted below, the Plymouth Lions Club collected several skids of deer hides which will raise over $4000 for the Wisconsin Lions Camp for children. Pictured left-to-right are Lion Jeff Zarembka, who spear-headed this project, Terry from Terry’s Bait Bucket, and Lion John Nelson who helped transport the hides. The Plymouth Club accounted for 5% of the hides collected in the entire state!

Starting September 15, 2018 through January 6, 2019 it’s deer hunting season in Wisconsin.  Wisconsin Lions Camp wants to put your deer hides to good use.  The Plymouth Lions Club is sponsoring a Deer Hide Collection at Terry’s Bait Bucket north of Plymouth at the intersection of Highway 57 and County Road J (W4931 County Road J).  All proceeds from the deer hides will be used for the Wisconsin Lions Camp to help serve the needs of others.  The Wisconsin Lions Camp began in 1956 and has been dedicated to providing a quality camping experience for people with disabilities.  There is no cost to the individual for participation the summer camp program, so contributions are vital to the operation of Lions Camp.  Please help by donating your deer hides.  For more information, contact Lion Jeff Zarembka of the Plymouth Lions Club at 920-579-5680 or visit the Wisconsin Lions Foundation Website (
