The Plymouth Lions Club and Plymouth Lions Foundation presented a gift of $100,000 to the city of Plymouth recently to assist with enhancements to Stayer Park as part of the Mullet Corridor Project.

The Plymouth Lions have been planning for this project since their 50th anniversary in 2014. Lions International will be celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2017, making the timing of this gift extra special.

Preliminary park design concepts have been submitted to the city. While the plans are being finalized, the Plymouth Lions will continue to look for opportunities to raise more capital through fundraising efforts like the annual Fish Boil, Green Bay Tailgate Party, and of course their famous grilled cheese sandwiches at the Sheboygan County Fair.
