Plymouth Lions Club delivers soup to Aurora Health Center workers amid COVID-19
PLYMOUTH – Since the safer-at-home order went into effect in March, the Plymouth Lions Club has been meeting, via conference calls, in its quest to lend a hand to its community.
“The Lions’ motto is ‘We serve,'” said President Lorena McKerrow.
McKerrow said that in the last six or seven weeks, the club met often via conference call to hash out ideas about how to give a hand. Those discussions led to having Chef PJ Campbell’s at The Depot make soup to be served to health care workers at Aurora Health Center in Plymouth Thursday.
